Together with the textbook Reading Texts, this volume is designed to help teachers translate the insights of contemporary theory into practical ways of conducting the seminars outlined in the textbook, indicate appropriate moments for introducing issues debated by literary theorists, discuss the problems that came up in their teaching the material, and suggest ways of dealing with them.
