After receiving two marriage proposals, Tricia Miles has some thinking to do. She's weighing her options when she hears an engine roaring down Main Street. It's a pickup truck that hits Marshall, one of her prospective fiancees. Tragically, he's killed. Tricia retreats to her sister's apartment and while walking her dog, the same pick-up tries to hit her, too. Still shaken, Tricia returns to Haven't Got a Clue bookshop where she discovers Marshall had been in the Federal Witness Protection Program. Everything Marshall told Tricia was a lie. Was his death an act of revenge?
