Nine female mathematics educators are interviewed and tell about their professional perspectives, about why and how mathematics and mathematics education became their field of interest. Two aspects are communicated; the story told by the nine colleagues, and secondly, an outlook on the interactive interview as a research method. Includes a bibliography.
