The Naval Chronicle, published in 40 volumes between 1799 and 1818, is a key source for British maritime and military history. Volume 15 (1806) contains addenda to the biography of Lord Nelson published in Volume 14, and the sixth report of the Commissioners of Naval Inquiry.
