The Naval Chronicle, published in 40 volumes between 1799 and 1818, is a key source for British maritime and military history. Volume 5 contains reports on the Battle of Copenhagen (April 1801), and the terms of the armistice negotiated by Nelson. It also includes historical, technical and topographical contributions.
