Two Latin chronicles of interest for their accounts of the campaigns of Edward III, edited by E. M. Thompson (1840–1929) and published in 1889. Adam Murimuth (c.1275–1347) narrates events from 1303 to 1347; Robert of Avesbury (d.1359) provides a military history of Edward III's reign down to 1356.
