Ulrich von Wilamowitz-Moellendorff (1848–1931) was a prominent German philologist. In Volume 2 of this 1893 book he offers a detailed reconstruction of Athenian constitutional history on the basis of the Constitution of the Athenians, together with a number of essays addressing various points in Athenian political history.
