A. E. Housman's immensely erudite edition of Manilius' five-volume Latin poem on the influence of the stars and the zodiac on human affairs was published between 1903 and 1930, and remains the authoritative text. Volume 5 (which is unfinished) describes the non-zodiacal signs and their influence.
