Issues in Community Education

Originally published in 1980, Issues in Community Education served as a source for descriptions of recent developments in the field and showed the broad diversity of opinions and beliefs about what constituted an issue. Divided into four sections the first describes the context in which community education existed and the problems it answered. The second section is concerned with tensions in development and the issues that had already loomed large, while the third concentrates on current practice at the time. Finally, the last section looks optimistically to the future with projections and plans to achieve the next stage. Today it can be read in its historical context.
