Charlie, Katie, Grace, Jamila and Ellie are five best friends and they've just joined the Brownies. It's the girls' first day at Brownies, and they're all feeling nervous and excited. At first, they're dismayed to learn that they're going to be in different Sixes, but their worries are soon forgotten as there's so much to do.
