Crime and Criminology in South Africa provides a comprehensive analysis of criminological theory, the criminal justice system and prevalent forms of criminality (namely gender-based violence, racially motivated and xenophobic crime, property crime, organised crime and corporate crime) in South Africa. In addition the book aims to contribute to the revival of theoretical criminology, which currently receives little systematic attention in South Africa.
