This four-volume set of Latin chronicles was edited by Richard Howlett (1841–1917) and published between 1884 and 1889. Volume 2 contains the fifth book of William of Newburgh's Historia rerum Anglicarum, and its continuation by another hand up to 1298, plus the Draco Normannicus of Étienne de Rouen.
