Undertaking research with young people is an expanding approach within education, sociology, criminology, politics, youth work and psychology. This book introduces existing research methods such as interviews, focus groups, ethnography and creative methods, as well as covering newer methods including place-based methods, digital methods, co-production and co-authorship. Each thematic chapter is followed by a shorter invited case study, which puts the specific method into practice.
