As globalization and the enhanced international role of China make contact between China and Norway deeper and more frequent, problems of language - being an essential part of the infrastructure of society - are brought to the fore. This book focusses on the grammatical structure of Mandarin Chinese and Norwegian from a comparative and acquisitional point of view, also investigating the role of English as an international lingua franca mediating between the two.
