Please Don't Take Her : Can Saffron be reunited with the only family she’s ever known?

Omtale

A powerful, moving true story from Sunday Times bestseller, Maggie Hartley, Britain's most-loved foster carer. Perfect for fans of Cathy Glass. When four-year-old Saffron starts school, her teachers are immediately concerned. She is often late for school - or doesn't turn up at all. When Social Services investigate, they discover that Saffron has been raised by her grandmother, Maria, since she was a baby, but now she is clearly struggling to cope with an energetic little girl. Maggie gets involved to see if she can ease the burden, looking after Saffron one night a week and at weekends to see if that helps give Maria some respite. However, after a dangerous incident, it soon becomes clear that even though Maria adores her granddaughter, she may not be able to keep up with the demands of a lively four-year-old. Is love enough, or will Maggie have to make a heartbreaking decision?
