Nikola has disappeared from Oslo. The only trace that remains is a newly recorded porn movie. Tarik decides to do whatever it takes to find his friend. When he learns that Nikola's father is deceased and to be buried, he buys a one-way ticket to Bosnia, the motherland he has never called his own. In the streets of Tuzla, the hunt for Nikola begins. Meeting his family and people who knew him, Tarik is drawn into a past that Nikola never shared with him. Simultaneously, a story unfolds about the two young men, connected by their outsider status and loyalty. Together, they are drawn into an underworld where boundaries are constantly moving, and the price at last becomes inhumanely high.
