Attack of the Killer Bunnies

Omtale

This short, high-interest, low-reading-level book about two brothers who fend off a colony of killer rabbits is an excellent choice for teen readers who are building reading skills, want a quick read or say they don't like to read! Fifteen-year-old Jack can't stop thinking about the last thing his dad said to him before he took off: "Man up." If Jack was stronger, maybe Dad wouldn't have left. Maybe Mom, Jack and his younger brother Tyler wouldn't have had to move to the middle of nowhere. And maybe Jack could stand up to their slimy new landlord. So Jack starts lifting weights, taking long runs and secretly guzzling a mysterious protein powder he bought online that promises to turn him from prey to predator. But when Tyler accidentally fertilizes their vegetable garden with Jack's protein mix, the local rabbits become the predators. Trapped in the house with killer rabbits trying to attack them on all sides, Jack and Tyler have to work together to make it out alive and confront what it really means to be strong in the process.
