This collection examines what ‘critical theory’ contributes to the study and understanding of EU law. It illustrates how a rigorous engagement with critical social theory helps to navigate the post-crisis European legal landscape. This engagement extends to a range of fields of EU law including constitutional law, economic law, fiscal integration, fundamental rights, climate law, external trade law, and the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP).
