The History of Free Masonry, Drawn from Authentic Sources of Information : With an Account of the Grand Lodge of Scotland, from its Institution in 1736, to the Present Time

Omtale

The Scottish natural philosopher and historian of science Sir David Brewster (1781–1868) published this work in 1804. In it he traces the general history of the 'peaceful institution' of Freemasonry, and then focuses on the Grand Lodge of Scotland, basing his account on the records of the Lodge.
