There's a Pig on the Sofa! : Adventures with our Furry and Feathered Friends

Omtale

'Cal and I have always considered ourselves as "yes people" – what’s the worst that can happen in letting a menagerie take up residence on our cream sofas? But walking through our living room trying to navigate my way around sprawled paws, hooves and claws, I thought maybe, just maybe, we had got a little carried away.'These are the heart-warming and wonderful adventures of the Braley Family and everything their furry and feathered friends have taught them. Abbie and Cal Braley are raising their family on a small holding in Gloucestershire and doing things a bit differently. With three lively kids - Buddy, Blossom, and Buster - and a menagerie of animals allowed to roam free in and around the house, every day is an unpredictable adventure where chaos reigns supreme! In this book, Abbie tells their story for the first time, reflecting on their extraordinary journey and the invaluable lessons learned from their beloved animals, who are truly part of the family. She shares the highs and lows, the fine balance and how they manage to embrace every opportunity for fun and play, even if it means a bit of mayhem. From cuddles on the sofa with Mollie the sheep (who thinks she’s a dog) to managing the attitude of Percy the teenage pig, there’s never a dull moment in the Braley home. This book will show you that a chaotic countryside life is within reach and is an uplifting tale of creating a family life brimming with joy, laughter, and, of course, plenty of noise. Put on your wellies and join them for the ride.
