Aeneid

Omtale

Setting sail from Troy after the city's destruction, Aeneas travels to Carthage, to the underworld and finally to Italy, where he founds the city that will produce one of the most powerful empires. Virgil's The Aeneid tells of the origins of the Roman people and of a man torn between duty to his people and his own heart.
