The issue of a new edition has afforded an opportunity for a careful overhauling of the work, for the correction of sundry errors and omissions, and for bringing the story down to date. This title covers the inception of factory legislation in the 1800s through to the administration of local authorities in 1902 followed by a retrospect exclusive to this edition.
