This Handbook examines disability law from an international and comparative perspective. Since the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) by the UN General Assembly, there has been a dramatic shift in the way disability has been conceptualised and, consequently, reflected in national laws and policies.
