Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge: The Billion Dollar Safari : The Complete Carl Barks Disney Library Vol. 32

Omtale

"I, Scrooge McDuck, will pay One Billion Dollars to the first person who finds me a speckled elephant with a square trunk!" And with that, we're off on a pandemonious pursuit of a prize polka-dot pachyderm. It's only a publicity stunt for Scrooge's zoo, but when the unfailingly lucky Gladstone Gander takes up the challenge, suddenly Scrooge fears he might actually have to pay up! And sure enough ... Next, it's a gold rush on the Moon -- and Scrooge wants to cash in! Not by digging for gold, but by selling supplies to the miners. But the villain Dan McShrew lures the Ducks away from their return rocket and leaves them stranded among the moon's riches with their air running out! Plus, seven more stories, including two very special Scrooge prose adventures lavishly illustrated by Carl Barks -- the never-before reprinted "Uncle Scrooge, The Lemonade King" and the poignant "Go Slowly Sands of Time!" Carl Barks delivers another wildly imaginative collection of outrageous adventures, laugh-out-loud comedy, and all-around comic book brilliance. Each page is meticulously restored and newly colored, with insightful story notes by an international panel of Barks experts.
