Rethinking Antiracism: Case Studies, Practices and Politics brings together case studies that explore the changing approaches to antiracism across diverse national and institutional contexts. As contemporary debates about antiracism have transformed over the past decade, this volume offers critical reflection on how we conceptualise antiracism and implement it in practice. Drawing on research from Lebanon, Germany, Brazil, Finland, the UK, and beyond, the chapters examine antiracist strategies across multiple domains and explore detailed accounts of specific policies and practices highlighting the importance of locating policies and practices within their broader social and political orbit. Contributors analyse how highly educated migrants respond to racism, how podcast storytelling challenges dominant narratives, and how colour-blind policies perpetuate racial stratification.
