The Literary Life of the Late Thomas Pennant, Esq. : By Himself

Omtale

Published in 1793, this autobiography showcases the wit of Thomas Pennant (1726–98), a Welsh naturalist whose detailed accounts of tours through Scotland, Wales and continental Europe are still valued as records of lost antiquities. Selected pieces in the appendices reveal a man of broad interests, ranging from anthropology to politics.
